Crankcase paint.

I gave the bike a good scrub and polish yesterday after the wet ride home from the MotoGP.The engine is a real beeatch to clean with all those nooks and crannies so I attacked it with a soft brush.I was shocked to find that the crankcase paint was peeling off in large chunks.
The bike has been ridden through the winter but kept clean and regulary sprayed with Scottoiler anti corrosion treatment.
Apart from some tarnished bolts the rest of the bike is in good nick.
The bike is 14 months old and still under warranty.Maybe I'll make a claim,........waddayareckon?

PS,My wifes 'P' reg.d 750 Monster was ridden in winter by us and the present owner and all the paint is still there on the engine.

Keith - CK had a real problem on her 750 Monster and I think also on the new 1000 Monster too - worth giving her a call. Henners
