When i fitted the 4 post version i bought off him for my 748r, i did not need the spacer and nut.
But i already had an stm slipper on anyway.

Ive had 2 corse clutches, a 6 post and a 4 post and neither ran with bearings whereas my old STM does.
My current 4 post Corse clutch does not have bearings just ramps.
I know wat your saying about...

Have been having the same problem with mine since the day I bought it (black STM). The bike either needs alot of revs which make a terrible noise and vibration, if this is not done the bike stalls....
