I stuck some superbike front suspenders on my...

I stuck some superbike front suspenders on my 750ss.

Easy mod.. Just milled the yokes (and made some shims, and milled the clip-ons)
Local engineering shop did it for me.. cheap as chips.. and now...

So thats pretty much everything you could do to a 750ss!

Don't know if there is much else you could do to a 750ss! the handling is blinding (being a corner freak this was the highest pritority for me.. ) My first ever bike, so I am still emotionally...

Just a quickie, I fitted a small aftermarket crankcase oil breather filter unit.. junking all the underseat / rearend pipes etc...

1) because my underseat breather box cracked

2) because it neatens...

Phoned the broker on the monday... requested a certifcate (as I had paid in full for the years insurance)..

was told 7-10days!.....

I don't see why a club should be able to set up as a preferential broker to the big insurers... it's worth a dialogue with them... question is who to approach, and at what level...

It is great because it lets you input all the contact details, then set up a 'Group' which contains all the Fax numbers of the Insurance...

It's quite easy really.. phone them up and ask'em... it's much quicker than sitting on the blower for 10 mins a pop getting an uncometative quote with no hard 'proof' to send...

You can buy offical ducati ones from the dealers for about £30 and they are the mutts nuts for detailed illustrations and instructions... just the job.. I've got one... they come supplied as A4...
