cheers guys, ive just been talking to the dealer in bristol and he tells me the bike was imported from japan minus the termis. he said it is now uk spec with V5 ect, and he will purchase the termis...

the only difference on the 996R is that pro twins...

the only difference on the 996R is that pro twins have used a different hose to normal, they get it from Fords, not sure if this the result of clear fluid.

mine moved to the point where by it started...

What ever plated you put in, make sure you put the spacer plates in in the correct order. You will have some thicker than others. Just copy what comes out.

There are two thick plates then the rest are the same thickness.

just had sc2's back and front, they give plenty of grip, would'nt go for the hard rear, takes a bit to get it warm. sc1, very soft and sticky.
just paid £199 for my sc2's.

i've just started using PFM discs along with the PFM 6 pot calipers, as i have stated in another thread, i was told to bed them in carefully to avoid warping, probably people are not doing this...

pads with no metal in them , thats what i was told.

i have just bought a pair of PFM iron floaters and was also recommended Bendix pads, hope i dont see the same results as you. Told to steer clear of sinterd pads for obvious reasons.
