Had a nice registered letter from Ducati UK today informing me that my bike is subject to a recall (No. 563) to have a new clutch fitted.-

Nothing seems to touch the anodising for me. Bought some oven cleaner (Mr muscle) didn't seem to do anything to it. Ended up cleaning the bloody oven.

I had the same problem last year. No one would sell me just a glass. In the end Techmoto came up trumps. They had a box where they had collected lenses over the years. They may not have them any more...

Bought a set of carbon termis off Martin H. Fitted them today but didn't realise that I don't need the center section which came with them, as this is 45mm to 50mm.
The 996s is 50mm all the way...

Have just changed my oil (2001 996S).
Went to clean the pickup filter, as per Haynes, and I don't seem to have one.
I just have a blanking plug where it should go.

I bought a pattern lever from patternparts. The span adjuster wheel is of a different colour metal, otherwise they match pretty well. I swapped the wheel between the two, now they look the same.
