Here's a thing about huggers. On the 748 (can't comment on the 9**), if you run the stock gearing, the hugger runs *very* close to the tyre. This can result in the tyre wearing a hole in the hugger....

They don't generally use much oil or owt like that. Couple of things I'd say:

1.Remove the front sprocket cover from time to time, and try to keep that area fairly clean, Chain gunk collects there....

1 metre is approx 3ft.

Hence 1.0 Nm approx = 3/4 ft.lb

Useful to bear this in mind when you can't always lay your hands...
