you need a special tool to take em out AND another to put em back in again - should really try and avoid the srewdriver - as that bit of the fork tube sits on the seal - I also think that the seal...

not being funny - but in between getting the bike and it blowing up - did you bin it? (or was it binned before you got it?)

I have heard that if the bike has been binned - it wont be long for this...

Cool once renewed, greased &

seated properly - as soon as you "prime" the system (when you turn the key and hear the wirring noise) if its going to leak anymore - it will leak then as the system builds pressure in the fuel...

with an 853cc engine - what a tool!!!

The bike was fantastic and pulled like a train from just under 3000rpm right up to the red line - WELL WORTH THE MONEY in my opinion.

Mine had a 50mm Ti system...

trying to get mine out in 2002 - it took ages and a massive hammer - in the end I had to cut the bloody thing between the frame and the back of the engine with a hacksaw - then I could knock it out...

they are both Carbon - just different types of plate!

sintered plates have a golden colouring to them and are usually on steel.
