just had a look for mine! it used to be in the pillion footrest bolt, but it has gone, vibration loss by the look of it, you can see where the bracket has snapped. I think the replacement will go on... |

i.e. yes they all do it most of the time

know what you mean, i had a 50 mile spin yesterday and a 25 mile spin today after building the bath panel supports and doing some grouting (boring i know)

mine ticks over at about 900 rpm when stopped with temp at 68 deg C (900 rpm is not a good tick over)
at between 80 and 90 deg C it ticks over great at about 1200 rpm

what temperature do your bikes run at on the open road, i.e. warmed up and travelling down motorway or A road
mine is currently at 68 deg C it was at about 71 deg C in the summer months.

got a st3 loan bike from Ducati Bristol whilst the 749 is being fixed.
It is a very comfy bike and my hands wernt cold on the way home, the scary thing was i could see 1/2 of what was behind me.
