Clutch operation has changed

When I first went out for a ride today, The clutch lever operation was normal then after a couple of miles it became much stiffer and wouldn't go all the way back to the bar when slowing and down...

Battery Replacement 996

My battery on the 996 needs replacing and I was thinking of getting a Shido LiOn.

Quick question on chain adjustment.

Is the correct position of the spindle in the eccentric adjuster to be at the bottom of the swing arm or at the top. If you see what I mean :) I think the bottom...

OK so i have rotated the engine so the timing marks are aligned in the window on the LHS - spot on.

Look at the all the timing marks for the camshafts and they are all spot on too and the mark on...

I got a cam holding tool for my belt change, but the instructions only say that you need to use it on the vertical belt.

Why is that?

You need to lift it up a bit and outwards as there's a tiny half moon cut out in the cover that just clears the top of the switch. Well thats what worked for me anyway :)

Just got my forks back from PDQ fitted with new springs and K-Tech valves :D Next thing is to put them back in, get the wheel fitted and then support the back to see if i can remove the rear...

Thanks for the pic, I have found the small cut out in my spacer so i will try and drift it out. If i don't succeed with that, i will get a slide hammer (Nelly's suggestion) and use that.

When the spacer is 'out of the way' there is not much room on the lip of the inner race to get a drift on.
