ant...i think ill go for the 998 style one to fit to my 996,but looking at the 'old ' drawing,i still think the plonka never put a washer on,allowing a cpl of mil movement,enough to push the sleeve...

chaps you're stars....looks like im missing washer nos 6 that fits under circlip nos 11,its allowed movement thats pushed the sleeve nos 7 out,allowing the sprocket closer to the swing arm,thanks...

ok gents,back wheel up,rear sprocket off,there doesnt seem to be a problem with the rubbers but the inside of the spindle seems to be rubbing against the part of the swingarm that you use to adjust...

deej..i'll go with that,he didnt have a casing but he did have an engine,he put me onto jim at bike enders,said if he couldnt help he'd break the engine for me,how good is that!
