It didnt seem to make a difference if the engine was running or not as it wouldnt find neutral when I was parking up during the journey, even with shuffling the bike back and forth and trying again...

First Ride - BIG grin - No neutral !!!

Having had the 748 Bip for almost 2 weeks finally got spare time to take it out today - when not in traffic it is lovely ( doesnt seem to like going slowly much, which wont be good for my license !...

Thanks for the info, I can manage the bike as it is OK now, would just be nicer to have the seat a fraction lower for comfort when stopping at lights etc...

Was looking in the Haynes manual, and it mentions there is a max length for the ride height adjuster, but not a minimum ( I assume the minimum is as short as it goes ??? )

Thanks all, got the bike insured ( £286 for fully comp ! ) and spoke to Carol Nash and they agreed on a value of £4500, based on the bike being in very good nick and having £300 odd of Datatool alarm...

I'm sure I would to, but I'd be gutted if I didnt get one and then dropped it because I forgot ! too many years riding bikes with normal stands its second nature just to kick it down and tip the bike...

Have a question you might be able to hlep with - have been offered some carbon termi's for my 748, but not with the new chip - seller reckons the chip doesnt really need changing over as 748's run...

Thanks for the info - my wife has ridden on the back of most of my bikes in the past, and has been on a 996 - I think it helps that she is only a size 10 and doesnt weigh much so finds most sports...
