Does this need to to increase with an FIM chip fitted??

I think the range is 3.5 - 4.5%??

I've got 9 weight in (Ohlins - fitted by JHP years ago) - this may just be me but they feel a bit too soft - but...

Sept or Oct is better bet for dry & Sunny
