I think most of the problems are just due to age as the bike has an excellent service history but things like disc carriers etc dont get taken off very often... |

Recently taken mine off with air gun air pressure at max and then the initial torque will spin the nut off.
ok with mine make sure you have a proper 6 sided impact socket not a cheapy.

I was lucky one tap with a nylon hammer and the alt casing just slid off followed buy the nut.
however the link says that the rotor and wheel pull off without a puller mine seems too... |
