Might want to take a look

at the multistrada's clocks. don't think they use the new 'single wire' technology on the 749/999. Might not be to your taste though ;)

soem components will even get less stressed due to the lower revs more power. Still takes the same looking after though. Careful checks at service time and extra oil changes should be fine. Fingers...
