Unless you really want to change the pipes, I would just get the correct heatshield for it. It looks like you've already removed the passenger pegs. All you need now is a mono seat conversion!

Those are not original BIP pipes. They did not have the welded on nuts for the curved heat shield. They are off an SP/SPS bike, or aftermarket pipes.
