I think you might be looking at the first draft of the rules. The final version say "wheels including diameter and rim must remain as originally produced by Ducati since 1992 for the 600/620 bikes".

Has anyone noticed that ALL of the Desmo Due racers (that I know about anyway) so far come from south of Coventry - JHP being the northern-most.
