I have fitted a single seat unit ... and agree that the spacers Ducati supply are too big. I have cut them down by 4/5...

Finally got hold of a single seat unit from e bay ( genuine ducati ... but I think the pinstripe paintsprayer must have been ****ed ... or Daytona did it themselves!)

I have never ridden my bike without one ... however at 6'3" and 130kgs, it sort of doesn't do that much anyway. In fact , I like to get to about 80 mph then the wind blast supports me off...
