Traced oil leak back up to the clutch slave cylinder. The oil is coming from were the push rod for the clutch runs through the engine and then fits into the slave cylinder. Is there a seal behind it...

The lever was repaired at a workshop not far from Bains, think it was a radiator manufactures only cost him a fiver.

All fitted together at last.

Moved some of the plates around so that the last friction plate now sits further into the basket so when the pressure plate is released it dont fall out.

You can have aftermarket exhausts fitted road legal or not, it's then up to the tester to decide if they are to load or not.

I have the datatool one fitted on my gsxr 600 which i find rather usefull. they do a kit for the mechanical type speedo.
Just wondered best place to fit on the 996 so its easy to see.
