Unless it suddenly starts spitting it out then I can't see anything...

If you can't see where its coming from and its not dripping then I would clean the oil off the fairing and monitor it.

You even sure it's oil? Maybe tar? or brake dust or dust off the clutch?

Its had its first service at the Ducati dealership at 617 miles on 03/04/01, then its had a service at 5467 miles on 21/04/02 at the dealership I bought...
