Dimensions for cutting out vents in primary gear cover!

Does anybody know the dimensions for the cut outs that are in the primary gear covers from the RS bikes. Just stripped mine down and want to cut them out before i paint it up, i no it would be easier...

Only the 748 SP, SPS, and Rs have the oil cooler fitted as standard! It is possiable to retro fit one to a standard 748 tho.

Give Nelly a call at cornerspeed, i watched him measure, and calculate the shim size on a program on the PC, for my engine, he has some shims also.

The damper mount which bolts to the top yoke should be tight! WHen this is tight the only movement shud be a slight rock of the damper fore to aft, as it rocks on the rose jointed bearing.

Lock stop

Yeah the lockstops are fine it will touch both without the airtubes, but now there all fitted, the left switch gear catches the tube, just before full left lock

Switch gear hitting Air tubes!

Just fitted my carbon airtubes, and when turning the bars left. the bottom of the switch gear unit, catches the top of the tubes! Has anyone encountered this problem, and whats the best way round it!

I know how u mean but the question was does the 2001 748 R have the slipper like the 2002, which it has! I agree it aint a proper billet jobbie and has the crude ramp design but it is a slipper!!
