I've used the Denso Iridium race plugs with good success instead of the hyper-expensive A55V plugs on my race bike. If that is the recommended replacement by Denso, I'd give it a try.

I'd check to make sure the pivot bolt is not corroded. Easy job to undo, remove, clean, grease. Also check the return spring (a coil around the pivot bolt) is not broken.

Depends if it is hard or soft anodising. Soft anodising comes of with baking soda and water solution. Try that first. If it doesn't work get them re-anodised by a reputable firm.
