Be careful with second hand ECU's, they might be coded to the original ignition key. My Fiat certainly was. VW might not be.

Fair enough, just that if you fit a cooler and the bikes not running hot then you'll have more problems with the oil not getting hot enough. Not a bad idea to fit one along with an 853 kit though.

I strip mine and clean it all with brake cleaner. Its coming up on 15,000 miles old now and i've thought its been on its last legs several times but after a clean it just keeps on going.
