Thats a pretty good web site to start on , another thing to check , is get it back to std settings & check the rear ride height as well ,that way you know where you are before you start adjusting !

I do that on my 998 Ohlins rear shock as well , it just so happens a RED BULL drink tin is nearly the same dia cut one up & zip tie it around instant protection:D
