got a 999s now, had a 916 bp before new bike miles better all round, and personally think it is great looking too ( mono with termignoni's is the way to go).
they seem to need careful setting up...

get it dyno'd then you will know where your peak power / torque is. very useful as can change from one bike to the next and you can decide what revs to keep it between to keep on the pace.
