i can imagine with the trumpets in place you could expect the incoming air to be sucked in in a nice laminar...

let them cool and the grip will drop dramatically

If your going to choose compounds .. go for the harder or endurance options

The harder compounds work better in this range .. softer compounds will tend to loose grip if they overheat and wear a lot...
