525 chain on a monster???

Thinking aloud (and wanting to save ££!) my monnie has a pretty shagged chain. If I bought a new (longer!) one for sps, could I use the existing (still in good nick) one on monnie?

any one know wher I can get them? Tried www search and only coming up with non Ducati makes. AJR dont have 36t in stock so trying to find one.

got the stadard cans on at the mo, for mot, and god its QUIET!

Leads me to belive (altho I kinda knew anyway) that termis need re-packing. Is this easy to do? Mate recons just remove rivets,...

thanks Harv, but the hugger and chain guard are as one, which means the brake line flops about with it off...and I dont have a guard to replace it.

steering damper

while messing about getting the old gal ready for an mot, noticed that the ohlins damper fitted is a fully clockwise - which I think is out. Any ides whre it should be standard?

problem - bigger sprocket??

just spent most of the afternoon trying to change to a quick-change carrier. Got 39t sprocket, changed from 36t std. Probelm is, now the hugger fouls the wheel - didnt do it earlier as I had it...
