Exhaust Manifold Gaskets

The new gaskets look a bit cheap and nasty,half the thickness of the old ones,look ready to leak as soon as the engine fires.Should any sealing compound be used when fitting?.

Bleeding Hell!

Started putting fluid back in 888,using Mityvac,clutch no problem.Front brakes refuse to obey,bubbles stop,but theres a constant fizzing.Took out bleed screws,wrapped threads in PTFE.Tried manual...

Been told that painting carbon is an expensive job compared to fibreglass,no doubt Sandbar produce good gear but at £347 probably be a shame to paint it!.

Rectifier/Regulator mounting

The reg/rec has been replaced,bolted via bracket to the frame.No rubber mounting/well nuts----hard to the frame.This isnt standard.....is it.How should it be done correctly.
