you can order the front wheel spacer from the monster S4r as the tacho drive is taken from the rear wheel as per mutistrada,
ive fitted one to my old 996 wheel and i use it on my 999

well i got the exhaust off and changed the rear manifold for a new one under garantie,
nice clean break around the weld ,i must admit a compleate nightmare to refit , lots of swearing...:lol:

but
more stability = slower turning
you speak off a instabilaty in long corners, harder rear spring may help

but it helps to take the rear wheel off so the chain can run a little untrue and you can twist the chain and the front sprocket out the front

i had this weave or pump at high speed so if you weigh over 85 kg(dry) then go for the new spring on the rear it worked for me and cost very little

i had the same problem on mine when it was new so i fitted the rear spring from the 999s bp and the difference on hi speed long corners was amazing (i weigh 96kg if that helps.....:D)
