You should be able to just push the locking piece in (it's only held in by a spring!) and this should flip the cap up. Works on all the old ones...

Nick, don't forget we're doing a 30-40 minute time trial at snetterton, so chances are that will finish off a pair of hoops by itself. I reckon 3 pairs would be a good budget number to go for.

Have you tried winding the adjuster out a few turns? This may bring the headlights up a touch and give better beam pattern for lighting the road in front.

Other than that I'd recommend some blue...
