Finally.... the only reason the 748R has a slipper in the first place is for homogolation purposes in the Supersport racing class - if it didn't have one as standard, it wouldn't be allowed to use it...

I had the same on mine - turned out to be the earth on the battery was not seated correctly even though it appeared to be. Just unscrewed it and did it up again and it went away.
