It surely cant be standard.

Ive got exactly the same problem ,The bush on the sprocket flange seems to be the problem, ducati glasgow have told me i cant order the bush seperately ill need to buy the complete flange, :puzzled:

loose rear sprocket

Just noticed my rear sprocket has a lot of movement side to side, Anyone know what the cause of this is.(97- 748 sp)

Dam thing died on me mid roundabout and burst...

Dam thing died on me mid roundabout and burst back in to life rather violently hence the highside (cold pilot race tyres didn't help matters)..

Pulled lid off the ecu to find loads of dampness...

Pulled lid off the ecu to find loads of dampness , dryed it out and the bike ran sweet as a nut although a bit scarred looking.

My 748 did exactly the same after washing it ,...

My 748 did exactly the same after washing it , turned out to be dampness in the ecu, Discovered that after highsiding and smashing a collarbone.
