| Oh yes. 5 years ago my brother had a 600ss, the alternator rotor had split clean through,  . it nearly spat him off when the engine locked up while exiting a roundabout, at first i thought the engine had siezed, when i eventually got the alternator cover off we found the rotor had split and jamed itself to the stator. i think it was about £125 for the parts to get it sorted, Gordy.
