Raised tyre lettering yes / no ??

Is white raised tyre lettering still socially acceptable on bikes ?? if so, red duc916 bike with silver and white detail, white or silver tyre lettering ??

and no, no black coloured lettering remarks either ??

has anyone else done this to there tyres and fances showing the rest off us the results ??

Tried it on my ST2. Very hard to do well, looks great until you ride the thing then it all cracks and looks horrid.

My 888 had these on when I bought it. Hi-Sports came from the factory like this I think.

I like it, looks good to have the little valve ligts on as well and maybe a lolly pop stick tuck some where to flap against the spokes so that it makes that wrillllllllllllllllllllling sound.
