Air Ambulance\'s

i would just like to praise our local air ambulance service ( and all the other 1's out there too). on tuesday i had the misfortune of witnessing a bike accident, the guy lost his honda on deisel after exiting the roundabout, you could see the deisel trail from local shell garage onto road over r'bout and down the hill. someone had phoned for a ambulance and within 5mins the helivcopter had arrived, i'd used my work van to block the road and the helicopter landed in the road next to the victim. the guy had bust his leg badly and right shoulder from where he hit the ford fiesta. the air crew werev very efficient and werent biker prejudice ( unlike the local police). they collared him and manouvered him onto a stretcher and whisked him off to the local hospital, no fuss jus pure professionalism, all this from a CHARITY !!!!! no goverment funding just cash form people like me and you. support yuor local air ambulance you never know when you may need it.
the police were only interested in if he was speeding and not the deisel all over the road, i was fuming but luckily i'd spoke to the car drivers and pointed out the deisel trails which they also pointed out to local filth, they looked the bike over which was standard apart from the cbr logo on the plate which i think they are going to give him a ticket for, b**tards

he was returning form the nec show and was 2miles form home, the poor bugger had just bought a doohan rep arai which was knackered and his old shoei was under the cargo wrap which had gone sliding doen the road. not a good day for the guy all round but i think he will make a full recovery

Mood: Found a CR250. Let the bone braking begin
good to hear the air ambulance service were so swift.
Hope the police don't do him for anything they have very poor public relations as it is,
would not surprise me though
They should be checking the garage vid for the diesel spill perpetrator

last year myself & 5 other guy's I work with, cycled from Hull to Harwich in aid of the Essex Air Ambulance. The route we took covered 340 miles & took 4 days.

We are not keen cyclists but wanted a challenge & raise money for a good cause.

We raised about 6K which I understand will pay for 2 days operation & if this helped just one person was well worth the effort.
