Single Seat for 748

As I never take a pillion I've decided to go for a single seat for my red 748 and have decided to go down the seat cover avenue rather than buy a whole new seat. I tried ordering one from CMW in Chichester who are having a devil of a job obtaining the genuine Ducati item, has anyone else had a similar problem?

Been a few posts on this on the old messaage board, try a search on there?

Think most debates were which ones looked best but there was a few threads.

I think you will find that once ducati has got rid of all 748 9** excessories, they won't be having anymore?

Well considering that there must be many many times more 748/996/998's around world-wide than 749/999's (as underlined by Ducati's recent dismal sales figures, see MCN), that seems like a strange marketing policy to me.

Since been informed by CMW that they are only available in grey or yellow, trying P&H in Crawley next.

I've got a yellow one, and I'm 99% certain I saw a red one on ebay when I was getting mine...
The DP catalogue shows part no. 969443AAA as a red seat cover...
