I was impressed with Iridium plugs until one went bad on me.

As a matter of interest - from the NGK website
Monsters and 600SS upto 1994 - DPR9EA-9 Gap 0.7mm
600SS 1994 to 1998 - DPR8EA-9 Gap 0.7mm

Iridium upgrades - DPR9EIX-9
and DPR8EIX-9 interestingly both with 0.7 mm gaps !!!!
