I run a car repair workshop, snap on are the make that all my mechanics buy regular use tools from due to the quality and lifetime guarrantee. thier service varies because the man on the van is your contact good man good service, useless man cr*p service! I will speak to gary our rep when he comes in later this month but I belive you can make a very good living indeed, it depends on your area and the effort you put in. Mac tools I have only ever seen 1 van in 10 years and my staff dd not buy anything as they did not feel they had the back up they had from our snap on rep. Either way take care when allowing credit, mechanics move from job to job and tracing them can be difficult. ripping off the tool man is seen as fair game unfortunately. dave |
