A newbie writes....

I've been skulking around these notice boards for a while now, thought i'd finally take the plunge and actually ask a question....ahem: i'm looking for a seat conversion for my 749 Dark that isn't going to cost me a testicle or a kidney.. Any advice?

Unfortunately my liver has been sautéing in red wine for too many years to be worth much. Arms and legs.... that's something to think about!

No wonder you say it costs a lot of cash....

BTW.... i'm new to the ducati world also, but form what i've read you'll need more than just that tail to do a bi to a monoposto conversion, so beware and inform yourself first.

That's why I was checking first.
Truth is I don't need a carbon fibre mono tail, but when did need overule want?

Use the forum search option,there has been a couple of threads on this subject.
What seat conversion are you looking for?A clip-on cover for the pillion seat or a full monoposto conversion?
There are a number of options to replace the bip seat,however if you want the "proper" monopsto then you will need a new rear subframe as well as the seat unit.

keefyb is right its an arm and a leg though
have a look on post 'L.E.D. lights'
my bikes on there with a cover from carbon world.
several of the lads on this site have brought them and they were all pleased.
