Newbie

Hi,

Just registered on the site and thought I should introduce myself.
I have a 2004 749 Bip limited mods at the moment but have a full set of termis. Experienced one or two problems so far, namely the front coils having to be replaced after 6 months.
Looking get the bike on the track this year, so in the market for a set of race plastics and crash bobbins - all recommendations gratefully recieved.

Later,
Stu.

Hi Stuart.
Welcome.

Just noticed you're from Manchester - are you poping down to Congleton to the Church house?

Hello Stuart,

As Steve has said you're fairly local to us Northern types, so pop along to the meets (I may even make an elusive appearance).

I believe a few people have had coils replaced, think the standard replacement is the R coils etc.

As for track days and race bodywork, well Oulton is the local haunt for me and several others, track day bodywork you can get locally from a guy called Barry over in Sandbach, he's just about to conquer the 749/999 from speaking to him yesterday, hopefully first kit in 2 weeks time

If you need his details etc drop me a line, and if you fancy a ride out sometime there's plenty of us around, although my bike might be "off the road" for a few weeks

Hello and welcome to the madhouse.

There's a few of us around up here so hopefully see you at the Church House in Congleton, or maybe for an informal meet at Oulton this Saturday.

Cheers for the replies & welcome's.

I did notice the Congleton meet, used to work there, can't see why I shouldn't be there.
I'll definately be interested in this blokes race plastics, a definate must (for me at any rate!). I've ridden Oulton once before, but a few years ago now, was on an NC30 - stunning track IMHO. Second favourite has to be Cadwell though - scary just about sums it up!

Definately up for some weekend ride outs too.
