Carbon Panels & removing paint

All,

Does anyone know how to strip paint from carbon panels without damaging them or the epoxy surface??

Cheers

Never tried it on Carbon fibre, but, did strip an old Corvette Stingray back to bare gell coat with the right kind of paint stripper. At the end of the day the Corvette is fibre glass with a gell coat .... your panels are carbon with a gell coat.

I would suggest going to a local auto paint suppliers tell them what your doing and ask them for some suitable paint stripper. Then try it on a small piece that if you "F" it up won't cost a fortune to replace, something such as the front mudguard or similar. Once stripped you can buff the gell coat just like you would paint.
