Right then heres the problem.
Its a 999r and it,s dead
Put the red key in wnd turn to the on position
.Rev counter does its thing ok.All the warning lights come on then go out leaving the EBOD light on constsntly. The rev limiter light flashes then pauses then flashes 3 times very quickly pauses and flashes once more. The fuel pump makes no noise. On the display the tenp and code are flashing after approx 1 minute the code stops flashing. The battery indicator stays blank, have tested battery and is showing 12.77v.very thing else looks normal.Tried to putr in code via twist grip method but EBOD light wont go out.
So if ther is any knowlegeable people out there advice would be much appreciated......

Help - possibly

When you turn on the ignition does the LCD read 999 or 0? There are two fuses at the side of the battery. One is a 3 amp which relates to the ECU/Immobiliser circuit. I have just experienced the same symptoms after getting caught in a thunderstorm. It transpired that my datatool alarm was shorting to the immobiliser circuit and blowing the fuse. It means the fairing has to come off to get to the battery and fuses. My solution was to have the alarm removed.

Hi lee .No swapping i think your problem is a bit worse than mine.As for the blue and white machine its a guided missile.Everything anybody has written about it is true. The front wheel likes to point skyward in the first 4 gears.AWESOME..........Better than a ferrari anyday.
