Headshake is basically a dynamic instability. Once it gets going it’s hard to stop, so a velocity-dependent damper can be used to progressively decrease its severity. If you’re not familiar with it here’s an example.
It looks like a '98 Fartblade, running white plate, so must be F1 or Senior (as Proddy is Red) but it wasn't during the race I don't think coz the only blades to DNF were factory bikes
Cant remember the blokes name, but talking to him a couple of years ago at the TT he was very ****-d off,Andy Ibbott had written a piece in MCN about tank slappers,saying that closing the throttle makes them worse,more throttle can cure them,included a photo of this bloke as an indication of how not to do it. The guy points out that when your flat out at the bottom of Bray Hill,there is no throttle left!.
