on average i get about about 10k miles out of standard clutches on various bikes, Nelly fitted a STM 48 indent type clutch instead of standard 12 type clutch. ( note i have read somewhere that there is a school of thought that this type of clutch is not good on the higher powered bikes) but after more than 7000 miles it is exhibiting very little sign of wear both on the plates and in the clutch basket).
May be worth considering if you need a new basket as well. |
