Sorry to be boring - I thought you would like to know that whilst very funny indeed it is far from new and certainly not true. It is a monolgue called the bricklayer originally given by a guy called Gerrard Hoffnung at the Oxford Union some many years ago (1959). He was an amazing raconteur and musician out of the mold of Peter Ustinov but unfortunately died in his early thirties.
