My best meeting of the season

Yeah for me it was the best meeting of the season.
Here are the main reasons:

- it's the first time I'm happy with what I've done, even if I'm not happy with my results. Not knowing the track (except the woodland bit), I improved my lap times of 4s between the practice and the first race, and of 3s between the 2 races... Chasing MW was such a great moment, and I wouldn't have been happier if I had caught him
- the DSC family was as wonderful as usual.
- the season is finished, and me and my bike are still in good condition,
- I think we were lucky with the weather.

There is still one bad point:

- I can't wait for the end of the winter

Good to hear Tonio, glad you didn't need the fork protectors after all.

Glad things turned around for you at last Tonio. Like many others, you have deserved a change in fortunes over the season.

Shame i could not make it this weekend, but due to the fact I am working far to much for my liking has prevented me from watching the last two race weekends. After all, I am kind of a 'sponsor' to Tonio.

Yes you are mate.
Actually all my sponsors (more people who helped me this year...) are DSC members. Huge thank to TP, Flanks, Yeti and Geoff. And to all other ones who gave me a hand all the year.

Well done Tonio. As you say, the most important thing is that you're happy with the way you rode, and that you see progression. There's always people faster than all of us which means there's always more to be learnt, I've just got to learn not to keep killing bikes, and try to crash in less spectacular way!

Next season I expect all my crashes to be slow and gentle, all engine explosions to be minor and easily repairable, and all bones to be strong and flexible.... oh well, can but dream.....

Cheers,

Ali

I wish you all what you dream about mate, you desserve it.

And I wish me a better standing position, I'm sure I desserve it (I'm a kind of Dom ).

(to Dom: well done mate, I was happy to see you in the top three. Btw If you need help, I know some top leather manufacturers in France ).
