Rear shock absorbers

Am i right in saying that the 900ss rear shock is supposed to be longer than the 600ss shock?.If so how long eye bolt centre to centre are they supposed to be.

Yeah but its cold outside!

Thats the problem anyway.Both the 600 and 900 measure the same.

Anyway clear off to America for 3 weeks to that secret training camp you were on about. One to one with Freddie Spencer.......I,m sure he will learn something of you

The 900SSie shock is longer than the 600SS shock, I think you'll find the difference is 5mm.
Does size matter ?

Carbed bikes 600/750/900 shocks are all the same length. ie bikes shocks are 5mm longer.

An ohlins DU235 will give you standard carbed length +12mm (oo errr!)
