If the tabs are on the rear sub-frame then, as I read the rules, you can remove them.

The main frame however, it looks like you can't modify it from the original production apart from to allow fitting of short inlet manifolds. But I can't see a definitive answer except that the rules don't say you CAN take the brackets off, so that means you can't. But I think the only intent is to stop us hacking off bits of frame tube!

Best ask the question to the official mail address and you won't go wrong!
