Try Muc Off miracle shine. Fantastic finish, water repellent, i'd say better than Mer and without the chalky residue.

My mates mad on Harleys and he's tried EVERYTHING and reckons this is unbeatable too.

Mer is all I use

on metal it gets a quick wipe over with WD 40
