Made me laugh as well in the Twin for 5 grand review... They are saying in the cons about the Duke that it doesn't make anymore than 600cc latest offerings... which in essence is true, but surely this is missing the point about twins. How can they compare peak power on a 4 achieved around 12,000rpm+ with utlisation range of about 2,000rpm vs a Twin that has almost twice the grunt of a 600cc from very low revs. I read MCN every week but I am a bit tired of the fuss about jap power, jap lightweightness (...with no fluids in), latest radial brakes that have transformed the braking (yeah right my a**!). For journalist I feel like they yield a bit too easy to the fashion set by bike manufacturers... Oh well they need to make sure money is still coming in from advertising!
