The dyno I had mine tested on is measured at the rear wheel, why would you measure anywhere else to be honest?
I have graphs for it plus fuelling somewhere.
I have always been a tad sceptical of bhp figures as different dynos produce different figures so as a general forum it's numpty territory.
However:
Where it does have it uses is if you're tuning a bike and you want to see how it is performing.
As long as you use the same equipment, same set up, same everything then over time this will give a bigger picture of what is not right with a system / fuelling / etc.
Beyond that, the figures are absolutely meaningless especially dyno-ing on bikes such as V twins as I gather it can be counter-productive, can't tell you the tech details but it can "back fire" on you!
Perhaps someone with the inside track will let us know.

So as far as I am concerned I have a 200kg bike producing 85 bhp.
Maybe that's why I am soooooooooo slow!
